P-resp™
Respiration from a Pneumatic Pillow

The pneumatic pillow is positioned near the animal's abdomen and secured with tape. The sensor's air tube attaches to the Respiration/IBP Module at the connector labeled “P-resp.” A green LED flashes to indicate respiration is being detected. The respiratory waveform and gate pulses are transmitted to the Control/Gating Module over the fiber optic cable.
