Three lead ECG/T Module
for use with the MR-compatible
Model 1025 Monitoring and Gating System

SA Instruments has developed a three lead ECG/Temperature Module for use with the Model 1025. Using 3 ECG connections to the animal rather than two can under some conditions improve the ECG measurement and stabilize the waveform baseline. This module is especially useful with larger animals, like rats and rabbits, and when the system is being used outside the MR magnet bore. The new module can be used with the Model 1025 as an exact replacement for the standard two lead ECG/T Module. It uses the same battery pack, battery pack cable and fiber optic cable. The only down side is that three ECG leads must be connected to the animal rather than two and it is slightly larger.
